We have an exciting opportunity at the Enterprise branch located at 105-1250 Knight Rd, Comox, BC V9M 4H2 for a Customer Assistance Representative Sr (CAR Sr). The CAR Sr will deliver high-quality customer service by assisting internal and external customers primarily face-to-face, supporting branch and rental operations. The role involves providing administrative support, customer service, and acting as a rental back-up in a large city or airport branch, with training provided.

Position Details

• Part-time position, $18.75/hour
• Schedule: Thursday - Monday, 8:00 am - 6:30 pm

Responsibilities

1. Handle incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, inquiries, and provide necessary information and resolutions.
2. Manage outgoing calls for callbacks, accounts receivable, and other purposes.
3. Assist customers in person and over the phone, assessing their rental needs.
4. Greet customers promptly and courteously.
5. Provide directions and general assistance.
6. Assess vehicle condition upon return.
7. Process vehicle returns, check-ins, and kiosk transactions.
8. Market the company's services while ensuring safety and courtesy during customer pickups and drop-offs.
9. Explain rental terms, vehicle features, and additional services.
10. Sell optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and equipment.
11. Report vehicle issues and maintenance needs to management.
12. Clean vehicles as needed.
13. Perform administrative tasks such as billing, reports, and maintenance logs.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher; college preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience.
• Valid British Columbia Full Class 5 driver’s license with no recent violations or at-fault accidents.
• No recent drug or alcohol-related driving offenses.
• Authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
• Availability to work the specified schedule, excluding religious observances.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
