As a Managing Consultant, you have identified your technical and functional expertise over several years and are now taking a leadership role in delivering successful client projects. Your responsibilities include developing and implementing data solutions hands-on, managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality. Your role is diverse, spanning various tasks to ensure project success. Your primary focus will be leveraging your technical skills and pre-sales expertise to drive business growth and deliver exceptional data solutions.

Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields, with a strong interest in IT and emerging technologies.
  • Extensive experience with various technologies, frameworks, and data modeling (Data Quality, Master Data Management, Data Manipulation, Big Data Engineering).
  • 7+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience leading implementations with tools such as Databricks, DBT, Snowflake, AWS, GCP, Azure, Tableau, Qlik, Talend, Dataiku, SAS, SAP Business Objects, Power BI, Informatica Powercenter, IBM DataStage, Oracle BI, SQL, Python, Hadoop, Java, among others.
  • Project management experience, preferably with agile certifications (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to develop, design, and analyze complex, high-volume data from multiple sources, providing tailored solutions.
  • Experience in data architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of common data language, definitions, and KPIs.
  • Ability to explain complex technical solutions clearly to clients.
  • Experience managing teams, budgets, forecasts, and workforce planning.
  • Fluent in English and/or French.
  • Experience creating Proof of Concepts (POC).
  • Experience responding to complex RFPs.
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the full lifecycle of analytics, BI, CPM, or digital projects—covering development, analysis, design, architecture, and implementation.
  • Understanding organizational challenges related to data silos and value creation.
  • Leading the development of new data solutions, including data modeling, ETL, storage, business logic, and visualization.
  • Creating deliverables based on client workshops and project guidelines.
  • Architecting data solutions and designing complex data models.
  • Contributing to sales efforts through technical insights and pre-sales activities.
  • Designing proofs of concept to demonstrate solutions to clients.
  • Developing compelling value propositions.
  • Translating business and technical requirements into technical capabilities.
  • Developing and validating best practices.
  • Enhancing delivery methodologies with lessons learned.
  • Leading project teams and internal resources.
  • Setting objectives and mentoring junior consultants.
  • Managing project profitability, including timelines, budgets, and margins.
