Job summary

Qualifications

Job Overview

The Quality Assurance team is responsible for supporting daily operations, ensuring HPS quality standards are met, and improving the manufacturing process by eliminating waste and implementing changes.

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different, and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by:

  1. Performing in-process and final product acceptance based on AQL sampling.
  2. Coordinating process improvement activities with work orders, drawing changes with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations as required.
  3. Assisting or coordinating auditor efforts in other areas as needed.
  4. Keeping management informed of progress and obstacles that affect the achievement of company objectives.
  5. Understanding plant policies and environment related to employee safety, equipment operation, and materials handling.
  6. Monitoring QA and Production performance as outlined in foundry control plans.
What Will Help You Thrive in This Role?
  • High School Diploma;
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred;
  • Prior Quality Assurance auditing experience (required);
  • Record of passing HPS QA Test (required);
  • Experience with SAP systems preferred;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
