Job Description

We are looking for a Manager, Supplier Performance to join our team. This position can be hybrid from any major city in Canada, with work hours aligned to Eastern Time zone.

Summary

The Manager, Supplier Performance oversees supplier performance and relationships across various service categories and client accounts. The role involves managing supplier performance data, conducting reviews, resolving issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The manager will generate reports and present insights to internal and client teams.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage operational supplier performance and relationships.
• Act as main contact for Supplier Performance & Relationship Management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maximize value from suppliers.
• Implement and act as SME for the BGIS Supplier Performance program.
• Conduct supply base segmentation and facilitate business reviews.
• Resolve process and performance issues with suppliers.
• Track non-conformance and assess KPIs.
• Manage escalations and disputes.
• Support process improvements and continuous enhancement of performance metrics.
• Ensure suppliers receive proper training and communication.

Reporting and Performance Tracking

• Generate reports on supplier performance and initiatives.
• Use tools like Excel and Power BI for analysis and reporting.

Knowledge & Skills

• College diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3-5 years in Supplier Relationship Management or related roles; experience in Facilities Management is a plus.
• Proven ability to develop vendor relationships and manage performance.
• Understanding of contract law.
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual in French is an asset.
• Experience with SRM programs and data analysis tools like Power BI is a plus.
• Team player with a high degree of ethics and accountability.

Licenses and Professional Accreditation

• Professional designation in Supply Chain Management (e.g., SCMP, CPP, ISM) is an asset.
