SUMMARY:
This role involves managing pharmacy operations during your shift, providing consultations to customers and healthcare providers, practicing to the full scope of professional services, dispensing medications, and assisting in maintaining the dispensary.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pharmacy and Customer Service: Greet customers, practice within legal requirements, ensure privacy, counsel on prescriptions and OTC products, practice full scope of services, be identifiable to the public, ensure prescription accuracy, communicate with healthcare professionals, maintain records.
Workflow and Inventory Management: Control access, review workflow queues, manage stock levels, identify expired inventory, oversee medication orders, comply with regulations on controlled substances, report to authorities as needed.
Operations: Maintain a professional store image, participate in financial reporting, respond to store communications, file incident reports for medication or privacy issues.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to make independent decisions, coordinate tasks, and coach colleagues.
Proven leadership in business growth, customer service, and professionalism.
Strong problem-solving, computer skills, and knowledge of pharmacy systems.
Adherence to health and safety procedures, ongoing training and education.
