Position will work with our Engineering team to carry out specific tasks vital to production, sales, and engineering departments. The Configuration Management Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Engineering Program Manager and is responsible for performing administrative duties supporting production, sales, customer & product support, and engineering departments.

Requirements
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support Engineering, Manufacturing / Configuration Management with administrative activities
- Assist in meetings, activities, and support managers as directed
- Coordinate with draft persons / engineers to gather product info, requirements, and design specs
- Communicate with customers, engineers, and other departments to facilitate processes
- Identify operational issues and suggest improvements
- Create processes and manuals to aid production, sales, support, and engineering
- Communicate with customers for schedule updates and project info
- Update and share engineering schedules
- Enter Bills of Material and Engineering Change Orders into MRP systems
- Maintain engineering records and drawings
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotes and orders
- Meet goals and objectives timely
- Attend work, meetings, and appointments punctually
- Interact professionally with team members and departments
- Act as a point of contact for the Configuration Management team
- Perform daily Configuration Management tasks
- Assist in generating engineering packets for manufacturing engineers
- Address questions, concerns, and requests
- Develop cooperative work relationships
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Coordinate projects with Product Support and Engineers
- Support compliance with airworthiness standards and best practices
- Maintain AVANTE MRP System Item Master and related documents
- Communicate ECO dispositions
- Support procurement processes with vendors
- Assist Sales & Business Development with technical presentations/demos
- Travel as needed (~10% domestic/international)
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment
- Compile data and draft Aircraft Software user guides in HTML using Robo Help
- Utilize Honeywell HUMS, Sky Connect SATCOM, and Aspire IFE products for testing and evaluation
- Review design options with clients and contractors
- Prepare/update manuals, procedures, and training materials
- Use Autodesk CAD software for drawings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Program Management tools like SLACK, TRELLO
- Valid State Motor Vehicle License
- Knowledge of avionics and electrical engineering practices
- Understanding of aerospace manufacturing drawings and specifications
- Detail-oriented, systematic, and accurate
- Ability to adapt and handle stress calmly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven manufacturing or similar experience
- Minimum 2 years administrative support experience
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Excellent research and problem-solving skills
- Customer service oriented
- Experience with CAD software and 3D modeling
