TIME COMMITMENT: Full Time, 37.5 hours weekly

DURATION: Permanent

SALARY RANGE: $46,000 - $58,000

ANTICIPATED START DATE: September 2

LOCATION: Office located in Grimsby, Ontario; Remote / Hybrid Work options

Overview of the Organization

Bible League Canada diligently tracks each copy of God’s Word placed, connecting Canadian donor champions with global champions to see maximum impact and multiplying transformation.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Research & Analytics, the Database Coordinator plays a supportive role in the ministry’s data-to-insight-to-decision strategy. This includes ensuring data is entered and maintained properly, and, together with the Research & Analytics Coordinator, working with internal teams to provide data, training, and support so that others can be more efficient and effective in their roles. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with staff and partners effectively and professionally, and display strong attention to detail.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Database Administration: Work with the Research & Analytics team to stay up to date on Salesforce releases and updates – testing new features before implementation; Assist with training new staff/users on Salesforce; Provide “How-to” instructions / training for all users on new features; Assist in supporting Salesforce users and licenses.
  • Data Management: Maintain all data within Salesforce (and other sources) to ensure it is up to date, accurate, and compliant with Bible League Canada’s best practices and government standards; Perform annual data clean-up to remove unnecessary data.
  • Team Support: Provide data and/or training support for internal teams; Assist with creating and updating reports and dashboards; Help identify and create efficiencies in current database management processes.
  • Research & Analytics: Assist the Research & Analytics Coordinator on selected projects.

Additional responsibilities may be added at the discretion of the supervisor.

Qualifications
  • Secondary diploma and some post-secondary courses in a related field; post-secondary diploma or degree is an asset.
  • Salesforce Trailhead credentials - Expeditioner rank within first 6 months.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce NPSP required.
  • 1+ years of experience in data management/administration is an asset.
  • Experience in non-profit organizations and IT support skills are assets.
  • Intermediate-Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; troubleshooting skills; strong organizational and time management skills.
