Hours : Monday to Saturday, 7 hour shifts
- Build and maintain relationships with key client / management figures to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Understand client’s vision, business strategy and policies.
- Make sure all safety and health protocols are in place, followed and updated.
- Screen, recruit and onboard new team members to their specified role.
- Understand the different components / areas of distribution centre to ensure quality.
- Tracking and maintaining metrics such as attendance, productivity, attrition and payroll.
- Maintain relationship with staff / associates on a daily basis. Be approachable to their needs.
- Understand training & SOPs of certain job roles.
- Conflict resolution and de-escalating issues between team members and client.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry changes in terms of recruitment; preparing for market peak.
- Develop plans and strategies to efficiently manage sudden changes in staffing, safety and productivity.
Experience / Requirements :
- Must be bilingual in French and English
- Must have supervisory experience.
- Must have strong leadership skills, be able to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word; especially Excel.
- Experience working at a distribution centre.
- Able to work independently with little supervision.
- Experience with following strict deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Recruitment and staffing experience an asset.
