We’re growing! We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic candidate to join our team as a Resident Manager in Sarnia, Ontario. This is an ideal full-time, live-in opportunity.
Duties include :
- Managing apartment buildings through rent collection.
- Managing expenses.
- Providing strong office administration and customer service.
- Overseeing maintenance and cleaning.
- Conducting and/or supervising all on-site activities in accordance with Skyline's specifications and all applicable legislation, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Residential Tenancies Act, and the Human Rights Code.
Qualifications :
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
- Good maintenance and cleaning skills.
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Knowledge of HVAC system repair and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and remain detail-oriented.
- Good judgment and innovative thinking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, push, pull, and navigate stairs.
- Proficiency with PC skills such as Word, Excel, email, and web browsing is an asset.
- Previous sales experience is an asset.
Education & Experience :
- High School Diploma or 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience renting apartments and assisting tenants.
- Experience in sales or a related field.
- Knowledge of applicable legislation regarding residential tenancies and landlord-tenant rights is an asset.
