Job Summary:

The Temporary Shipping Operator is responsible for the safe handling, storage, transferring, and loading of Granular Urea in accordance with applicable governmental regulations, corporate policies, and company standards. This includes inspecting, cleaning, loading trucks, and completing necessary paperwork to release trucks from the facility.

Job Description

Major Responsibilities:

1. EHS Leadership

• Carry out emergency procedures as required.
• Complete plant safety training and practice safe work behaviors.
• Operate product handling and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.

Process Control and Equipment Operation

• Understand and maintain safe operation of handling and rail equipment.

Equipment and Process Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot equipment during abnormal situations and facilitate repairs.

Position Qualifications

Grade Twelve Diploma, valid driver’s license, experience with heavy equipment is an asset, good interpersonal skills.

Position Scope/Contribution

This is a temporary 12-hour shift position, including overtime and weekends, lasting approximately one year.
