Aramark Canada is seeking a passionate individual interested in pursuing a career in Hospitality, Culinary Management, or Nutrition to join the team at Starbucks as a Supervisor. Reporting to the Retail Director, the Starbucks Supervisor will coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the franchise location, including supervising the front-line team.

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead by example, demonstrating the importance of respecting every team member, customer, and client.
2. Train, orient, and monitor new team members.
3. Assist in ensuring optimal team coverage at all times and work various positions during busy periods to maintain service levels through demonstrated floor leadership.
4. Monitor staffing levels and report any required changes to the manager.
5. Oversee completion of product labeling, temperature logs, waste logs, and production logs.
6. Assist with onsite promotions and advertising provided by the Marketing Manager.
7. Ensure cleanliness throughout the operation during service hours.
8. Monitor cash handling procedures.
9. Handle customer service complaints with the manager's assistance, with an appropriate sense of urgency.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Diploma/Degree in Culinary Management, Hospitality, Nutrition, or related field.
2. 1-2 years of supervisory experience in the food service industry.
3. Experience working with Starbucks or similar franchise is an asset.
4. Outstanding communication skills.
5. Strong prioritization and time management skills.
6. Excellent customer service skills.
7. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
