Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Analyst with at least 5 years of scripting and data processing expertise to support Data Management users in processing client files via Swiss Re's ELF tool. The role requires strong communication skills to understand user requirements and translate them into automation workflows using ELF’s Python scripting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with Data Management users to understand their file handling needs and design automated workflows using ELF.
2. Create and execute scripts in ELF for file operations such as copying, renaming, moving, lookups, zipping/unzipping, utilizing Python-based functions.
3. Process various data formats, including Excel, CSV, PDFs, and flat files, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
4. Manage client data workflows, primarily focusing on the LATAM region.
5. Identify gaps in ELF’s functionality and coordinate with the development team to request and implement new features.
6. Maintain documentation for scripts and workflows for transparency and troubleshooting.
7. Provide end-user support to address queries and ensure smooth workflow operations.
8. Automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in scripting or automation, with a strong Python foundation.
• Hands-on experience with file operations like renaming, copying, moving, and lookups.
• Familiarity with handling data formats such as Excel, CSV, and PDFs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for designing efficient workflows.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with users and providing support.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client workflows.
• Experience collaborating with development teams to enhance tool functionality.
