Jobtailor is seeking an educator to enhance Holocaust education through teacher training and development. The role involves creating educational materials, aligning curricula with provincial requirements, and delivering engaging lesson plans for middle school classrooms.

The candidate will collaborate with education teams, travel across Canada as needed, and support teachers with professional development and materials that improve learning outcomes.

Qualifications

Must have degree in teaching or a certificate in education.
Proven experience as a middle school classroom teacher.
Bilingual (French/English) an asset.
Experience creating lesson plans in literary arts and/or social studies/history courses.
Experience presenting lessons in a comprehensive manner using visual/audio means to facilitate learning.
Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices.
Excellent interpersonal skills and well organized.
Creative and energetic.
Demonstrated interest in learning about the Holocaust.

Responsibilities
