Job summary

Peace Wapiti Public School Division is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant (30 hours/week) to support students under the supervision of a certificated teacher.

The role involves assisting with classroom activities, personal care, and various tasks; a current Criminal Record Check is required within six months, and the salary range is $21.28/hour to $28.02/hour. Eligible employees may qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Educational Assistant Diploma preferred.
• CPR/First Aid would be an asset.
• Experience with children in classroom settings preferred.
• Ability to perform required physical tasks and assist with personal care.

Responsibilities

• Assist certificated teacher in daily classroom activities.
• Support student learning and behavior management as directed.
• Perform required physical tasks and assist with personal care as needed.
