Job summary

Living Sky School Division is seeking four Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistants at Leoville Central School, starting immediately and ending June 30, 2027. Hours are 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday, supporting students with intensive needs in personal care, life skills, academics, communication and behaviour under teachers’ direction.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Support students with intensive needs in personal care, life skills and experiences, academic assistance, communication, and behavioural support as required by students and directed by teachers.
• Promote engagement, participation and success of students as part of the school team.
