Job summary

Living Sky School Division is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant for Battleford Central School. This role starts September 25, 2026, with a contract ending June 30, 2027.

You will be part of a team supporting students with intensive needs in personal care, life skills, academics, communication, and behavior under teacher direction. The ideal candidate holds at least Grade 12 and preferably a post-secondary certificate in Early Learning & Childcare or Youth Care Worker.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one year relevant childcare experience.
• Post-secondary certificate in Early Learning & Childcare or Youth Care Worker would be considered an asset.

This posting is forTemporary Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Educational Assistant position at Battleford Central School. This position starts on September 25, 2026 and has a contract end date of June 30, 2027.

Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. Educational Assistants support students with intensive needs in five key areas: providing personal care, life skills and experiences, academic assistance, communication, and behavioral support as required by students and directed by teachers.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
