Job summary

Chinook School Division is seeking an Educational Assistant for Spring Creek Hutterian School, a small colony school located about 50 km SW of Maple Creek in Saskatchewan. The 0.50 FTE position supports inclusive education and student development within a collaborative team.

The role requires working with children, providing individual support and participating in planning for Individual Improvement Plans, with a commitment to diversity, inclusion and reconciliation practices.

Qualifications

• Educational Assistant certification or early childhood training an asset
• Ability and experience in working with children
• Physical ability to work with active students
• Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, and an ability to work in a team environment
• A positive and flexible attitude to change
• Valid Driver's License
• Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation
• Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion
