Job summary

Wolfcreek is seeking a part-time Educational Assistant to support students with complex needs in elementary and junior high. The role is a temporary replacement, aligned to a school schedule and targeted learning goals.

Duties include one-on-one support and collaboration with teachers to implement individualized strategies, ensuring an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with complex needs
• Knowledge of speech, behavior modification strategies, and play-based learning would be asset
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
• Calm and patient approach to solving problems
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented learning environment
• Ability to work one on one with a student in an inclusive environment
• Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be an asset

Job description

Assignment:

• Part-time 0.50 FTE Temporary replacement Educational Assistant position
• Supporting and assisting students with complex needs within Elementary and Junior High School
• Daily from 8:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
• Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue until January 28, 2027
