Job summary

Sturgeon Public Schools in Bon Accord, Alberta is seeking two full-time temporary Educational Assistant 2 positions at Lilian Schick School to support students in Grades 5–9.

Under the direction of the classroom teacher, EAs will provide individualized and small-group support, assist with academic, social, and behavioural development, and help create inclusive, respectful learning environments. A valid Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector check is required.

• Experience supporting students with Autism or behavioural needs.
• CPR and First Aid.
• Training or experience in behaviour support, TCIS, developmental and emotional regulation strategies.

Sturgeon Public Schools is currently seeking twoFull-Time Temporary Educational Assistant 2 for work assignments at Lilian Schick .

Every student learns differently and deserves the support they need to thrive. As an Educational Assistant, you play an important role in helping students access learning, build confidence, and experience success in the classroom. Through collaboration, encouragement, and individualised support, you help create inclusive learning environments where students feel safe, valued, and empowered to reach their potential.

Located in the Town of Bon Accord, Lilian Schick School serves approximately 240 students in Grades 5–9. With strong academics, non-denominational Christian faith-based LOGOS programming, and a focus on student well-being, the school provides opportunities for students to learn, grow, make healthy choices, and achieve their goals.

What You Be Doing
