Job summary

Peepeekisis Pesakastew School in Peepeekisis Cree Nation No. 81 is seeking Education Assistants to support students with Special Needs under the supervision of the Resource teacher and the Principal.

The role includes assisting teachers, implementing student Education Plans, supervising during recess and outings, and performing related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent is required.
• Early Childhood Certificate is preferred but not necessary.
• Physically fit and able to perform some heavy lifting.
• CPIC and Vulnerable Sector Check is required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities
