Requirements include Grade 12 plus Capilano University Education Assistant Program completion, a BC driver's license, and basic first aid knowledge.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 plus a special program and 6 months up to 1 year of related experience.
• Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's License.
• Knowledge of basic First Aid and learning tools (e.g. computers).

Responsibilities

• Assist students with physical disabilities, health diagnoses, intellectual or behavioral needs as directed.
• Supervise a designated area inside or outside the school before, during and/or after school.
