Job summary

St. Jude Elementary, a vibrant Catholic elementary school in East Vancouver, is seeking a dedicated Primary Educational Assistant for a full-time position from September 2026 to June 2027, with possible extension.

Qualifications

• Certification in education or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the classroom teacher and Learning Resource Teacher.
• Providing classroom support to students with varying levels of need both one on one and in small groups.
• Supervising and supporting students during independent work and group activities.
• Helping to implement individualized education plans for students.
• Tracking learning goals related to the individualized education plan.
• Participating in Grade-level meetings with the classroom teacher and Learning Resource Teacher.
• Attending and participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
• Interacting professionally and discretely with students, parents, and other staff.
