Job summary

Parkland School Division invites applications for Permanent EA Certified/Non-Certified positions at Spruce Grove Stony Plain area. Roles include 25 hrs/week (0.714 FTE) and 35 hrs/week (1.0 FTE) with responsibilities across instructional support, student care, and classroom assistance.

Qualifications include Educational Assistant Certificate or comparable education; benefits eligible. Successful candidates will work with teachers and student support teams in PSD’s diverse learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support in all curriculum areas, one-on-one or small groups as directed by the teacher.
• Organize notebooks, timetables, agendas, and lockers.
• Scribe notes and read exams for students as required.
• Modify and adapt the program for individual students as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Assist in implementing Individual Program Plan goals and adaptive devices.
• Assist students with computer access and educational software.
