Job summary

School District 63 (Saanich) is seeking a daytime support staff member to join our team serving about 8,000 students across 18 schools. The current shift runs 8:10 am to 2:48 pm, Monday to Friday, for 10 months per year while regular classes are in session.

The pay rate is CAD 31.77 per hour, with collaboration time outlined in our current agreement. The successful candidate may receive Crossing Guard training to support school safety, and the assignment ends on June 29, 2027.

(Includes 1/2 hour unpaid lunch) 10 months per year while regular classes are in session

Additional minutes per day are included in the 'Current Shift'schedule above, which staff are expected to work daily in lieu of the spring break closure week in order to allow employees in continuing and temporary assignments to be paid their regular pay during the spring closure week as per Letter of Understanding- Spring Closure Week.

Pay Rate: $31.77

This positionis entitledto collaboration time as outlined in the current Letter of Understanding - Support Staff Learning Improvement Fund.

End Date: Before school hours (8:10am to 8:40am) are temporary and end on June 29, 2027

Successful candidate may receive Crossing Guard training in order to fill in when necessary
