Job summary

School District #63 (Saanich) is seeking a part-time Crossing Guard to support student safety during school hours. The position follows the Current Shift of 9:05 am to 3:08 pm, Monday to Friday, for 10 months per year while regular classes are in session.

The pay rate is $30.20 per hour, with an end date of June 29, 2027, or return of incumbent. Successful candidates may receive Crossing Guard training as needed.

Current Shift: 9:05am- 3:08pm Monday to Friday

(Includes 1/2 hour unpaid lunch) 10 months per year while regular classes are in session

Additional minutes per day are included in the‘Current Shift’schedule above, which staff are expected to work daily in lieu of the spring break closure week in order to allow employees in continuing and temporary assignments to be paid their regular pay during the spring closure week as per Letter of Understanding-Spring Closure Week.

Pay Rate: $30.20

This positionis entitledto collaboration time as outlined in the Letter of Understanding - Support Staff Learning Improvement Fund.

End Date: June 29, 2027, or return of incumbent, whichever comes first

Successful candidate may receive Crossing Guard training in order to fill in when necessary
