Job summary

Saanich Schools is seeking an Education Assistant under the CUPE Job Description: Education Assistant - Job 51. The position runs 9:00am–3:08pm, Monday through Friday, for 10 months each year while regular classes are in session, with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch.

The pay rate is $31.77 per hour. A successful candidate may receive Crossing Guard training to fill in when necessary, and collaboration time is provided per the LOA.

Current Shift: 9:00am- 3:08pm Monday to Friday

(Includes 1/2 hour unpaid lunch) 10 months per year while regular classes are in session

Additional minutes per day are included in the‘Current Shift’schedule above, which staff are expected to work daily in lieu of the spring break closure week in order to allow employees in continuing and temporary assignments to be paid their regular pay during the spring closure week as per Letter of Understanding- Spring Closure Week.

Pay Rate: $31.77
