Job summary

Saanich Schools in Victoria area is hiring for a part-time support role during the school year. The district serves about 8,000 students across 18 schools and employs over 1,300 staff who help students achieve personal goals and future opportunities.

The current shift runs 8:30am–2:33pm, Monday to Friday, for 10 months while classes are in session. The position pays $31.77 CAD per hour and includes collaboration time per the current Letter of Understanding.

Current Shift:

8:30am- 2:33pm Monday to Friday

(Includes 1/2 hour unpaid lunch) 10 months per year while regular classes are in session

Additional minutes per day are included in the‘Current Shift’schedule above, which staff are expected to work daily in lieu of the spring break closure week in order to allow employees in continuing and temporary assignments to be paid their regular pay during the spring closure week as per Letter of Understanding- Spring Closure Week.

Pay Rate:

$31.77

Successful candidate may receive Crossing Guard training in order to fill in when necessary
