Job summary

Colliers in Edmonton is seeking a General Manager to lead a mixed-use portfolio across industrial, office, and retail assets. You will direct operations, financial performance, tenant relations, and risk management while building a high-performing team and coordinating with owners and on-site partners.

The role requires a senior leader with a strong track record in CRE, budgeting, compliance, and ESG initiatives, delivering measurable value and long-term asset growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercial real estate with senior PM leadership
• Strategic leadership experience in a complex asset environment
• University degree in business, commerce, or economics
• CPM, RPA, or LEED GA designations preferred
• Strong financial, organizational and project management skills
• Valid RECA real estate licence
• Alberta driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
• Proven ability to build relationships and deliver client service
• Excellent communication and coaching skills
• Knowledge of real estate law, leases and tenancy

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for operational, financial, and strategic performance of a mixed-use portfolio comprising industrial, office, and retail assets.
• Lead multidisciplinary property management team with a focus on client service, professional growth, and succession planning.
• Oversee operating budgets, revenue, expenses, and financial reporting to enhance long-term asset value.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Asset Managers and Owner Representatives.
• Ensure properties are maintained to life safety, maintenance, regulatory, and risk standards.
• Partner with Leasing, Accounting and stakeholders to support tenant retention and governance.
• Oversee vendor relationships, procurement, performance management, and risk mitigation.
• Lead sustainability and ESG initiatives to improve energy, emissions, water, and waste outcomes.
