Job description

Sideworx Connect offers positions for both employees and independent contractors. We specialize in placing short-term and seasonal employees, allowing you control over your schedule and a chance to explore various projects. We are seeking experienced SCBA Air Technicians to join our team, with experience in managing and operating a breathing air trailer and supporting equipment for Plant Turnaround operations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Safely operate and maintain equipment (Air trailers, SCBA, SABA, and Stand-Alone Air Monitoring Equipment) according to company policies.
  2. Monitor workers using SCBA and SABA equipment.
  3. Conduct confined space monitoring.
  4. Participate in onsite safety meetings and highlight specific hazards.
  5. Complete and submit all required paperwork promptly.
Qualifications:
  1. Previous experience managing a breathing air trailer and 4-5 years of oilfield experience (operations, completions, well testing, flowback, etc.).
  2. Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a Truck & Road Radio.
  3. Standard First Aid & CPR – Level C.
  4. H2S Alive certification.
  5. Common Safety Orientation.
  6. Confined Space Entry & Rescue certification.
  7. TDG, WHMIS certifications.
  8. Drug and alcohol testing will be required.
Working Conditions:
  1. Travel is required; some jobs may offer a Living Out Allowance.
  2. Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and in adverse weather conditions.
  3. Ability to perform worker rescue.
  4. Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
