Hours may change due to overnight resting spot. A new time and meterage must be completed within one week of hiring.
These are casual bus driver positions with the South Shore Regional Centre for Education. The location varies based on need. The rate of pay is $26.28/hour. Successful applicants will take the South Shore Regional Centre for Education bus driver training program which is provided free of charge. This training program will prepare participants for the test for the Class 2B driver's license. A clean driver's abstract and Criminal Records check is required and experience working with school age children is an asset.
BACKGROUND/SECURITY CHECKS:
The South Shore Regional Centre for Education requires all newly hired employees to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector Check and a Nova Scotia Child Abuse Register Check. We will accept checks completed within the last 3 months.
Regional Office based positions require travel and candidates may be required to provide a valid driver's license. Some school based positions also require travel and candidates may be required to provide a valid driver's license.
