A leading mining services provider is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Greater Sudbury. The role involves planning and managing equipment maintenance projects, supervising installations, and ensuring safety standards. The successful candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with a focus on collaboration and communication.

We are also expanding to other states and areas in both countries.
Plan, schedule, and assist in the coordination of short to medium term maintenance for all mobile equipment on-site. Plan to Thiess standard or Original Equipment Manufacturer specifications (whichever is greater) to ensure the equipment fleet achieves maximum availability in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

WHAT WE OFFER
The salary range for this role is $115,000 to 125,000 CAD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Thiess considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
