Position Summary

Zamplia is a cutting-edge SaaS platform that connects buyers and sellers of market research samples, providing real-time access to global sample sources with transparency and high-quality controls. As a Sales Engineer at Zamplia, you will play a key role in supporting the sales team with technical expertise, product demonstrations, and solution design. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, translating those needs into product solutions, and driving the technical aspects of the sales process. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for market research, and the ability to communicate complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing team to provide technical expertise during the sales cycle, including product demos, presentations, and answering technical questions.
  • Act as the bridge between customers and the development team to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Customize presentations and demonstrations to address specific client needs, showcasing how Zamplia’s platform can solve unique challenges.
  • Collaborate with prospects to design scalable and effective market research solutions that align with their business goals.
  • Provide ongoing support to the sales team with product-related questions, proposals, and RFP responses.
  • Help define technical requirements, communicate product capabilities, and ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through to onboarding.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical challenges that arise during the sales process.
  • Assist in the development of technical content for marketing materials, case studies, and product documentation.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and developments in market research and technology, bringing new insights to the sales team and clients.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical support role, preferably in the SaaS or market research industry.
  • Strong understanding of market research, data sampling, and survey technologies.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM tools, such as HubSpot or Salesforce, and familiarity with sales processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to address client challenges.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with API integrations, data security, and cloud-based technologies is a plus.
