Title : Insurance Defense Trial Attorney (remote)

Location : Greenwood Village, CO Must live in the state of CO

Pay : $53 / hr

Description

Consider joining our legal team where you'll represent our policyholders in civil litigation matters involving claims for monetary damages or compensation for personal injuries or property damage of low to mid-level exposure.

Experienced trial lawyer : You will manage the entire legal process, from investigation and discovery through trial preparation and court proceedings, including negotiating settlements as required.

Strategic partner : Research all applicable laws and findings, develop appropriate legal strategies for all stages of litigation, and share them with claims representatives and insured clients.

People person : Establish and maintain good relationships with claims reps and clients, and occasionally conduct training sessions for Legal, Claims, or other departments.

Effective communicator : Develop and render clear, unambiguous legal opinions and strategies, and draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and opinions.

What you've got : Experience

Membership in the CO Bar

A minimum of 2 years of successful experience practicing law

Experience in insurance defense strongly preferred

Skills

Persuasive oral and written communication skills

Knowledge

Broad knowledge of insurance law
