Position Overview: Support the successful execution of construction projects by ensuring conformance to Stantec’s ISO requirements, corporate policies, project management framework, and client standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with leadership, finance, project managers, and project controllers to ensure successful project execution, financial health, and process optimization.
2. Assist with project management best practices, including setup, revenue/cost forecasting, change management, budgeting, and business planning.
3. Monitor financial progress, identify areas for improvement, and assess risks.
4. Support internal processes such as project setups, forecasting, monitoring gross margins, invoicing, and contract reviews.
5. Work closely with project teams to stay updated on project status, issues, and changes.
6. Analyze data to identify trends and support leadership decision-making.
7. Review project gross margins and collaborate on cost-saving measures.
8. Ensure adherence to client standards and corporate policies, including reporting and quality reviews.
9. Coordinate project deliverables, schedules, and contract management.
10. Assist in training project controllers and managers.
11. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
12. Support business development activities, including proposal preparation.

Your Capabilities and Credentials:

• Experience in finance, project control, or project management roles is advantageous.
• Understanding of finance and budgeting, including profit and loss analysis.
• Strong analytical, listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and resourceful.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro, MS Outlook, MS Teams, MS Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Access).

Education and Experience:

• Technical degree, diploma, or certificate in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in project management, finance, or analytics preferred.
