OVERVIEW

As the Ecommerce Marketing Manager, you will lead and optimize Obakki’s ecommerce experience. This role is responsible for driving performance, conversions and engagement through effective and brand-aligned digital marketing strategies across email, paid media and Obakki.com. A results-driven marketer, you will support the planning, execution, and optimization of seasonal and evergreen campaigns across all digital channels. The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative, with a deep understanding of ecommerce and digital marketing trends. This role reports into the Head of Marketing and will collaborate closely with the creative, product and operations teams, as well as agency partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including creative, merchandising, and product—to ensure cohesive and brand-aligned campaigns across all digital channels.
  • Lead the development and implementation of customer facing homepage asset updates, high-converting landing pages, and promotional placements that drive sales and engagement on Obakki.com.
  • Support key merchandising initiatives by integrating relevant product stories, collections and campaign storytelling online.
  • Track and analyze KPIs (incl. conversion rate, average order value, traffic and sales) to continuously improve the user experience and conversion rates.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize email marketing, in particular email flows.
  • Partner with the performance marketing agency to optimize the paid media strategy and ensure cross-channel alignment.
  • Support the management and maintenance of the GTM calendar.
  • Stay informed about emerging digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies, incorporating innovative practices into the marketing strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related field, preferably within DTC retail.
  • Previous experience with Shopify is a must!
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, customer acquisition strategies, and online sales funnels.
  • Expert level proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify, Meta, etc.
  • Proven experience analyzing data, with an ability to interpret analytics, derive insights and translate them into actionable strategies to improve ecommerce performance.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices a bonus.
  • Experience working with Klaviyo a bonus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment, with a focus on delivering measurable results.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is CAD$65,000 - CAD$80,000. Individual pay is determined by factors such as relevant experience, role related skillset and / or education.
