Westin Furniture is a leading provider of indoor and outdoor patio furniture with over 20 years in the industry. Our products are available in specialty stores, department stores, home centers, and online retailers. We are seeking an E-Commerce Account Assistant to manage marketplace channels and develop new sales opportunities. This role is based in-office.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Create and optimize product listings on major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Wayfair, Bed Bath & Beyond, Macy’s, Target, etc.
- Understand and adhere to the specific requirements and best practices of each platform to ensure compliance and maximize sales.
- Maintain accurate and updated product data across all channels.
- Write SEO-optimized product titles, descriptions, and bullet points to improve visibility and conversions.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, including rankings, reviews, and sales data, to inform improvements.
- Conduct competitor research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Manage and upload high-quality listing images that meet platform standards.
- Collaborate with the E-Commerce Account Manager to align strategies and goals.
- Assist with additional e-commerce support tasks as needed.
Ideal Qualifications :
- At least 2 years of experience in e-commerce, particularly with product listings and marketplace management.
- Deep knowledge of multiple e-commerce platforms and their listing requirements.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and image editing.
- Familiarity with online sales platforms like Amazon and eBay.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience :
- Minimum 1 year of online listing and content writing experience.
- Experience in the furniture or outdoor furniture industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of marketplace analytics tools and dashboards.
Minimum Requirements & Attributes :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience (2–5 years).
- Proven success in managing marketplace listings and increasing product visibility and sales.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and PPC advertising.
- Typing speed of at least 60 WPM.
- Understanding of branding, visual merchandising, and product positioning online.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
