The Position

eCommerce Analyst (12‑Month Contract, Hybrid) – The eCommerce Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Church and Dwight PurePlay accounts (e.g. Amazon.ca, Chewy.ca, Well.ca) by resolving operational challenges and ensuring seamless execution of online sales strategies. Reporting into the eComm National Business Manager, this role focuses on driving efficiencies primarily within Amazon sales operations and collaborating cross‑functionally to enhance eCommerce execution. The position is a key problem solver, translating multiple data sets into actionable insights while proactively resolving marketplace challenges to drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Amazon Operational Compliance Support: manage chargeback claims related to pricing, operations, prep, Born to Run, and post audits; proactively dispute invalid charges and recover costs.
  • Partner with Warehouse and Customer Logistics teams to ensure customer compliance, including adherence to backhaul (WePay) requirements, pickup scheduling, and shipping standards to optimize inbound performance and minimize chargebacks.
  • Support item suppressions and Andon Cord issues by addressing with Amazon support and SVS to reinstate ASINs and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with eComm team to oversee brand protection efforts, liaising with U.S. Brand Protection teams to remove counterfeit products and mitigate risks, ensuring brand integrity on Amazon.
  • Performance Analytics and Catalog Maintenance: maintain regular sales and media reporting (weekly data downloads, SnS, promo post‑mortem analysis); monitor product catalog health; support ongoing product catalog maintenance and new item set‑up; develop and maintain eCommerce market share and competitor tracking reports, plus ad‑hoc deep dives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1‑2 years experience in eCommerce account management, agency or CPG, with preference for experience managing chargeback disputes.
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central.
  • Highly proactive, with proven ability to identify gaps, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive timely resolution.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools to analyze sales trends and track KPIs.
  • Ability to problem‑solve operational issues and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross‑functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience synthesizing large sets of data into clear and actionable insights.
Compensation & Benefits

The Ontario compensation range for this role is $61,100–$86,500. Church & Dwight’s salary ranges are intentionally broad to provide opportunities for future growth and progression. Actual starting salaries are determined based on internal equity, relevant experience, market competitiveness, and job location.

Eligibility & Location

Based in Ontario. Candidates must be legally authorized to work full‑time in Canada. Canadian work experience is not required. Applicants will be informed of the outcome within 45 days of interview.
