Job summary

Schaeffler Canada Inc. in Ontario (Stratford) is hiring an Operator to work in a climate-controlled production area. You will operate machines, follow work instructions, read production prints, and participate in maintenance and quality checks to meet stringent standards.

The role offers starting wages from $24.60 to $26.73 CAD per hour, with shift premiums and opportunities for advancement. Medical/dental benefits begin after the first month, plus pension matching and a profit-sharing plan.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Work under direct supervision of immediate Leader and routine operational guidance of others.
• Follow standard work instructions and work specifications.
• Collect, record, document
• Operate all machines within the defined work area.
• Familiar with the set up, calibration and maintenance of all tools, equipment, systems, processes and machines which are used to perform work.
• Perform required operator TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance) and complete fault tags where required.
• Perform basic problem solving and basic troubleshooting to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards.
• Responsible for quality
• Perform inspection on own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work.
• Required to train other operators as needed.
• May be required to work in other departments.
• Able to read and interpret production prints.
• Confirm operational/technical questions with area Setter (and/or Technician where applicable) or Leader when necessary.
