Responsibilities:
- Vulnerability remediation.
- Configure and administer Windows Server 2008/2012/2016.
- Handle Exchange 2016 and Outlook-related issues.
- Maintain physical and VM servers for maximum uptime.
- Troubleshoot Windows OS issues and handle escalated L3 issues.
- Manage Windows security, including permissions, file sharing, event logging, and disk administration.
- Manage Active Directory and Network Infrastructure, including Forest and Domain.
- Provide third-level support for server issues, implement security policies, and virus protection.
- Participate in system builds, upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
- Maintain documentation of technologies, standards, and procedures.
- Administer server consolidation via VMware ESX, create VMs, and manage templates.
- Assist in P2V and V2V conversions using VMware tools.
- Monitor and harden VMs and ESX servers for security compliance.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues using ILO and Client SIM.
- Upgrade firmware on physical servers from vendors like Dell and IBM.
- Optimize performance and conduct health checks on servers.
- Customize VM resources and analyze logs and resource utilization.
- Install and configure Client ProLiant and Dell PowerEdge servers.
- Create VMware VMs based on client specifications.
- Participate in on-call rotations supporting production environments.
- Analyze incidents and requests, providing necessary support within SLA.
- Escalate support issues to Windows team when needed.
- Manage and complete assigned projects.
- Willing to work varying shifts.
