About True North Sports Camps
True North Sports Camps offers year-round sports programming for boys and girls ages 2 to 14 in Toronto, Etobicoke, and Oshawa. We offer baseball, flag football, basketball, soccer, multi-sport, and hockey specialty summer day camps, along with after-school and weekend programs during fall, winter, and spring. We prioritize providing a memorable experience, believing that recreational sports are vital for child development.
Founded by the creators of North Toronto Baseball Camp, since 2007 our goal remains to deliver high-quality sports instruction in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment.
The True North Philosophy
We are committed to creating the best possible experience for every camper. While developing athletic skills is important, our core focus is fostering a positive environment where campers can have fun and build friendships.
Camp runs weekly in July and August from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, with extended care from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. This summer, the camp operates for 7 weeks (June 30 – August 15) at West Glen Junior School, 47 Cowley Avenue, Etobicoke, ON.
You will be required on-site during July and August from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with some duties outside these hours, mainly remotely.
As a Program Director, you will lead on-site camp activities, plan and organize daily programming, and ensure a fun, inclusive, and safe environment. You will manage various aspects of camp operations with support from your Co-Program Director and Assistant Director, including:
Salary will be competitive and based on experience, including a base salary and participation in a discretionary incentive program.
