The Business Development role is responsible for achieving revenue objectives through sales and marketing duties, including researching and pursuing new referral sources and maintaining relationships with existing ones. The role involves reporting progress weekly to the Manager, discussing successes and opportunities, and demonstrating growth in Sales/Marketing/Networking activities.

Essential Job Functions:
- Research and develop Referral Provider Network relationships, generate referrals, and perform all phases of consultative sales, including cold calls, follow-ups, needs diagnosis, and service recommendations.
- Achieve inquiry generation objectives to increase market share by targeting hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living, nursing homes, senior centers, hospice, and rehabilitation centers.
- Develop sales and marketing plans with franchise leadership, focusing on weekly/monthly activities to meet or exceed goals.
- Present Home Instead services effectively through meetings and group presentations to referral providers.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using software to maximize territory potential.
- Build a database of qualified leads via face-to-face, email, phone, and web contacts.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Participate in educational programs for clients, prospects, and co-workers.

- Innovate and develop new approaches to problems.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Growth.
- Report directly to the Vice President of Growth.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license, valid car insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Post-secondary education preferred.
- Sales experience beneficial.
- Conditional employment until a clean Criminal Record or Vulnerable Sector Check is provided.
