Position Details

Are you interested in doing some painting around campus? The University of Lethbridge, Building Maintenance Department, is looking for workers with painting and general building maintenance experience to work as Painters from April 28, 2025, to August 30, 2025.

The Duties of the Position Include:

• Painting common corridors, classrooms, labs, washrooms, and outdoor stair handrails
• Furniture moving
• Housekeeping duties related to paint work
• Assisting Building Maintenance Operators with office moves, event setups, and other necessary tasks at various times

Pay Rate: $19.22 Hourly

Position Qualifications:

• Some commercial painting experience, including minor drywall repair
• Physically capable of performing duties which may include working at heights and moderate lifting
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff and the public
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Valid unrestricted Class 5 Driver’s License with no more than 6 demerits
• Submission of a motor vehicle record (driver abstract) dated within 3 months of the posting close
