Job description

Under the supervision of the Manager or designate and as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides care to complex but stable residents/clients. Responsibilities include performing assessments, planning and delivering personal care, and executing nursing procedures. The LPN operates within the full scope of practice as defined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives, adhering to competency guidelines, agency policies, standards, and unit-specific protocols.

Qualifications: Education, Training, and Experience

• Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN.
• For MHSU roles, additional education as specified by BCCNM is required for practice involving primary diagnoses of Mental Health and/or Substance Use disorders.
