What you’ll be working on

1. Understanding business requirement documents and user stories to create functional and system design specifications.
2. Staying current on Salesforce releases, new features, product roadmaps, and applications available from third-party providers on the Salesforce AppExchange.
3. Experience working with LWC, SOQL, and SOSL.
4. Collaborating with Product, Sales, and Operations management to understand system needs and ensure effective integration of systems strategy and development into the business.
5. Partnering with development teams to ensure technical solutions align with architecture standards.
6. Acting as a trusted advisor to partners by anticipating customer needs and identifying appropriate solutions.

What you bring to the role

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related discipline (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of experience with Salesforce sales, support, and service platforms.
• Experience in organizations with complex technology landscapes and a proven track record of delivering complex projects using Agile development practices.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce Security model with hands-on experience in configuration and customization using Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Scheduled and Batch classes, Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Salesforce CPQ knowledge and experience is an advantage.
• Deep understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce Communities; experience with Marketo or similar marketing automation platforms is a plus.
• Experience with implementing DevOps and source code management tools, and best practices in CI/CD environments.
• Experience with integrating Salesforce.com with third-party applications using SOAP/REST APIs, Middleware, etc.
