Labourers are essential in driving production on site and in the trench. They are expected to demonstrate competency to a supervisor or designated mentor in all Core Responsibilities of a Labourer. It is also expected that they adhere to the policies outlined in Hall’s HSE and actively participate in site organization and safety.

Core Responsibilities

• Shoveling drilling spoils and concrete
• Chipping concrete
• Pressure washing and cleaning the top of finished piles
• Utilizing bandsaw to trim center bar
• Completing basic math calculations and using a measuring tape
• Working around foundation drilling equipment
• Maintaining housekeeping and spotting equipment
• Working 10-12 hours per shift when required

Qualifications

You have the following qualifications, technical and interpersonal skills:

• Pass a pre-access alcohol and drug test
• 2-5 years of experience preferred
• Piling / Foundation Drilling experience is a benefit; CFA experience preferred
• Able to travel to BC and Saskatchewan as required

Technical Skills

• Must know how to operate a pressure washer
• Knowledge of safe work procedures
• Ability to identify various types of hazards on site
• Understanding of hand signals for spotting concrete trucks and crane signals
