Purpose of Job

As a Quality Engineer II (L5), you will ensure the quality of our software products by designing, developing, and executing test strategies and automation frameworks. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to promote quality best practices and continuous improvement.

Accountability

Reporting to the Quality Engineering Manager and Team Leads, you will provide updates on progress, escalate potential delays, and ensure project timelines are met.

Main Activities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
  • Implement shift-left testing strategies with developers.
  • Execute and maintain automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Contribute to test planning and defect tracking.
  • Develop quality metrics and report on testing effectiveness.
  • Promote continuous improvement in testing processes and tools.
  • Participate in release readiness reviews.
  • Escalate quality issues promptly.
  • Improve test documentation and processes.
  • Follow change control procedures.
  • Support UAT activities as needed.

Qualifications and Skill Set:

  • At least 5 years in Software Quality Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with UI & API Automation.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of Microservice Architecture.
  • Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Postman/JavaScript, REST Assured.
  • Mobile automation with Appium.
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and coding from scratch.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools, source control, and service virtualization.
  • SQL and database testing skills.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr.
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
