Scheduler - Major Transit Facility

We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our team for a significant transit infrastructure project in Ontario. This 3-year greenfield project involves the construction of a state-of-the-art maintenance and storage facility, including potential geothermal systems and EV battery storage.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules.
2. Create high-level master schedules and continuously monitor progress against established timelines, identifying critical paths and potential delays.
3. Ensure efficient allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
4. Evaluate risks impacting project schedules and work with teams to develop mitigation strategies.
5. Generate regular schedule reports for stakeholders and facilitate clear communication regarding schedule expectations and changes.
6. Align project schedules with overall objectives, budgets, and quality standards while supporting ongoing projects.

Qualifications

1. Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of construction scheduling experience, preferably on large ICI projects.
2. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project; familiarity with Procore or P6 is an asset.
3. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
