Wage Category : Annual Salary with Benefits

Report to : Controller

Location : Scarborough, ON

Responsibilities :

  • Treasury Governance

Execute treasury policies and procedures to impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities

  • Support interim and year-end audit
  • Banking
  • Prepare documents for bank account opening / closing, credit card application / cancellation / credit limit change, authorization adding / change / removal
  • Prepare incoming and outgoing payments by schedule, ensure accurate accounting of transactions and audit trail
  • Track bank service fees and address quality issues
  • Prepare monthly / quarterly / yearly treasury reports
  • Assist in annual review of bank facility
  • Cash Management

Prepare daily cash position report comprising of the estimation and analysis of cash receipts and disbursements

  • Prepare forecasts to project company cash positions in the short run and the near future, and alarm funding issues and cash-related risks if any
  • Manage inter-company loan and reimbursement
  • Settle inter-company receivables and payments
  • Manage petty cash

Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Accounting designation is preferred
  • 3+ years of accounting or treasury related experience
  • Experience in a trading or manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Advanced skills on Microsoft applications
  • SAP experience is preferred
  • Detail oriented, and excellent time management skills
