Project Cost Controller

Position Summary

• Provide financial support to the project team(s).
• Represent Finance within the PMO organization and support Project Management for financial, administrative, and economical tasks.
• Perform cost control, billing, and project financial management functions.
• Compile Thales accounting & internal control processes, delivering reliable and documented information and reports on time.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Ensure cost control conformance with company policies.
• Develop and prepare project budgets and contract changes.
• Maintain financial budgets and Estimate At Completion in Primavera, validating with PMO and Finance Manager.
• Prepare and validate monthly re-forecasts of sales, gross margin, costs, and cash flow; ensure timely reporting for operational reviews.
• Monitor project cash flow, liaise with Treasurer, and manage foreign exchange exposure and customer collections.
• Produce monthly project reports and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Support Project Control Group processes, project billing, and pricing preparations.
• Establish global project processes for improved monitoring and control.
• Perform special assignments as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Arts (Accounting major), or similar, with relevant experience.
• 1-3 years in a large organization, preferably in Defense & Security or project cost controlling.
• Experience with project management and lifecycle.
• Proficiency with SAP, Primavera, Excel, and other business systems.

Special Position Requirements

• Schedule : 40 hours / week, hybrid model.
• Travel : Occasional domestic travel.
