Job Summary

The IT Division is looking for an experienced individual to join our team as a permanent, full-time Systems Developer delivering and supporting solutions for our Finance department.

What you will do:

Development and Operations

• Scope, design, implement, and create solutions using Azure Function Apps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Pipelines, Azure Logic Apps, App Service, Key Vault, Event Grid, and similar

• Deploy applications, configure services, monitor and troubleshoot in Azure environments

• Develop and maintain end-to-end solutions and integrations

• Create technical documents to represent the solution design and code

Collaboration and Innovation

• Collaborate closely with Analysts, Developers, and clients to gather and understand business, functional, and technical requirements

• Participate in solution evaluations, developing Proof of Concepts, and Business walkthroughs

• Participate in the research and evaluation of new tools and technologies that drive innovative solutions for clients.

• Improve technical practices, eliminate waste, reduce delivery risks, and participate in issue resolutions

• Develop automated tests and workflows for systems, applications, and microservice-based integrations

Support and Delivery

• Serve as an expert in the support of the applications assigned

• Deliver new quality features and services to clients, early and often

• Open to learning new technology skills and leverage them when developing new solutions

Our Technology Stack

• Proficient in creating and supporting Azure solutions using services like SQL, API management, Key Vault, Functions, Event Grid, App Service, Data Factory, Storage Account, Cost Management, Active Directory, and Defender

• Familiar with data formats, languages, protocols, and architecture styles required for Azure-based integration solutions, such as Java, .NET, JSON, REST, and SOAP

• Skilled in at least two general-purpose languages (e.g., C#, React JS, JavaScript, Python) and two development frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core)

• Experienced with cloud development and deployment (Azure, AWS, GCP), modern development tools and practices (Azure DevOps, CI/CD, unit testing), and modern web frameworks and serverless functions.

• Working experience developing in ServiceNow, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform would be an asset

• Experience using test automation tools such as Selenium and Playwright, and integrating with large ERP systems such as Oracle Financial Cloud and/or SAP Concur solutions would be nice to have

Who you are:

• 3+ years’ experience of back-end or full stack development.

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to take end-to-end ownership.

• Excellent knowledge of software development design patterns.

• Experience with at least two general purpose languages or frameworks or libraries, one of which should include: Python, Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, Spring Boot, React, or Conda

• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Skilled in modern development tools and practices, such as git, CI/CD, unit testing.

• Experience with capital markets would be considered an asset.
